These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kingsgrove Accounting website and set out the general terms on which we provide our accountancy services. Please read them carefully. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
This website is operated by Kingsgrove Accounting Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales (Company Registration No. 16723616), with its registered office at Boston House, Grove Business Park, Downsview Road, Wantage, Oxfordshire, OX12 9FF. You can contact us at Hello@kingsgroveaccounting.co.uk or on 01235 376133.
We provide accountancy, bookkeeping, tax, payroll and related financial services to businesses and individuals. Information on this website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute professional or financial advice. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of website content alone without seeking specific advice tailored to your circumstances.
The specific services we provide to you, along with the responsibilities of each party, will be set out in a separate Letter of Engagement. Where there is any conflict between these Terms and your Letter of Engagement, the Letter of Engagement takes precedence in respect of the services described in it. No contract for services is formed simply by enquiring through this website; a formal engagement begins only once agreed in writing.
Our fees will be agreed with you in advance and confirmed in your Letter of Engagement, typically as a fixed monthly fee or a fee for a specific piece of work. Any quotes or price ranges shown on this website are indicative only and not a binding offer. Payment terms, including any recurring payments, will be set out in your engagement. We reserve the right to review our fees, giving you reasonable notice of any change.
To allow us to provide our services effectively, you agree to:
You remain legally responsible for your own tax affairs and for the accuracy of the information you provide to us and to HMRC.
We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill, in line with applicable professional standards and relevant law. We will act in your best interests, keep you informed, and meet agreed deadlines provided you supply the information we need in good time. We are not responsible for delays, penalties or losses arising from information provided to us late, incompletely or inaccurately.
We treat your information as confidential and will not disclose it except as required to provide our services, where you have consented, or where required by law or our regulatory obligations. We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR — please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use and protect your data.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from information you provided that was inaccurate, incomplete or late. Any liability we do have in connection with our services will be limited as set out in your Letter of Engagement. Website content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it in any way that could damage, disable or impair the site or interfere with any other user. We aim to keep the site available and accurate but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely up to date, and we may change or withdraw content at any time.
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images and design — is owned by or licensed to Kingsgrove Accounting Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal or business reference, but you may not reproduce, republish or exploit any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (for example HMRC, Xero or QuickBooks). These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, policies or availability of any third-party site.
Either party may end an engagement in line with the notice terms set out in the Letter of Engagement. On termination, we will provide reasonable assistance to hand over your affairs, subject to settlement of any outstanding fees. We may suspend or withdraw access to this website at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date, and will apply to your use of the website from the date they are posted.
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at Hello@kingsgroveaccounting.co.uk or on 01235 376133.
